Returned containers are cleaned, sterilized, and refilled. Then they are listed on our website at a 10% discount.
Product listed as "New Container" is a brand new never used container, while a "Reuse Container" includes a returned and sterilized container and will automatically have a discount applied.
When you are done with your product, you can return your empty containers to any event that Mae Botanicals is vending at, or send me an email for how to mail back kari@maebotanicals.com.

The easiest way is to just drop off at any of our in person markets and you can use your 10% off then too! You can also send me an email and we can arrange a drop off at my office in Seattle or you can mail back to the shop. We will then completely clean and sanitize and reuse your empty bottles!

The phrases on our containers are prompts, they can be used as part of your ritual, as part of meditation, or simply as a reminder to notice this very moment.
These phrases are written by Dr. Kari after sitting with each plant. She has been in long and deep relationship with many of these plants and listens carefully to the messages of the plants, translating and distilling them into a unique phrase on each bottle. These phrases are available to you as a route of connection to each plant and the land on which that plant was grown.
These phrases are fodder for your own rituals, they are prayers from the plants and to the plants, they are meditations, they are mantras, they are for you to use and modify and enjoy.

It takes time and care to pack your orders once they are placed. Please allow 2-5 business days to get your order processed and taken to USPS.
We ship only USPS and these are their transit times:
Ground Advantage 2-5 days
Priority Mail 1-3 days
As shipping is a flat rate calculation, shipping will be Priority or Ground Advantage depending on the number of zones. We will pick the quickest shipping within the range of the price paid. If you wish to ensure Priority shipping please send us an email and we will make you a custom order.

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges. However, if you have an issue with your order, please contact us and we’d be happy to help you.

My package says delivered but its not here. What do I do?
Unfortunately, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been scanned in by USPS. If your package says “delivered” but you can’t find it, it usually shows up in 24 hours, sometimes as long as 3-4 days. We also recommend you check with neighbors to see if it has been delivered to the wrong address. If you need help with filing a claim with USPS, please contact us and we’d be happy to help you out.

How should I store my products?
All skincare is made fresh and housed in recyclable glass containers. Skincare products should be kept away from heat, intense lighting, and direct sunlight. This helps maintain their botanical colors, medicinal potency, and natural fragrance. Most skincare is best used within 6 months of purchase.
